Abstract

In this paper we investigated the holographic properties by doping thiol into a TiO2 nanoparticle dispersed acrylate photopolymer in green light with the recording intensity 80 mW cm−2. It is found that the effect of oxygen inhibition on the polymerization was greatly reduced with the increase in thiol concentration. Additionally, noticeable improvements in the recording dynamics of Δn together with the recording sensitivity by doping thiol into the TiO2 nanoparticle dispersed acrylate photopolymer were obtained and the influence of the thiol groups on the diffusion of TiO2 nanoparticles is also investigated.
