Abstract

Abstract Thin amorphous films sputtered onto the piezoelectric substrate enable to control surface acoustic wave velocity in variable delay lines. Amorphous alloys like FeBSi have been chosen for this purpose due to strong ΔE—effect and large magnetostriction. The main parameter of a variable delay line—relative SAW velocity change should be as great as possible in attendance of a low magnetic field.
