Abstract

[Objective]To discuss the effect of antidepressant drug citalopram combined with psychological rehabilitation treatment in reducing high blood pressure and affecting the quality of life (QOL) to the hypertension patients with depression.[Methods]106 primary hypertension patients with depressive disorder were selected,and randomly divided into two groups,53 cases in the control group were treated by conventional therapy,and on the basis of the treatment of the control group,53 cases in the observation group were treated by antidepressant medication citalopram combined with psychological rehabilitation,and then we observed their blood pressure,depressed symptom and the changes of the patients' QOL.[Results]After 6 weeks,the total effective rate of the observation group was 92.45%,and the control group was 71.70%,there was statistical significant difference between them(P< 0.05).All the patients' systolic pressure,diastolic pressure and HAMD score were declined a lot than before (P< 0.05),and the observation group was better than the control group(P< 0.05).The somatic function,mental function,social function,matter function and total points of the QOL in the observation group were all rising a lot(P< 0.05),but the control group had no change(P> 0.05).[Conclusion]For the primary hypertension patients with depressive disorder,on the basis of the conventional therapy,adding the antidepressant medication citalopram combined with psychological rehabilitation will ameliorate the patients' QOL and improve the control rate of the patients' s blood pressure.
