Abstract
Pronounced restriction of phage 27 was shown to occur above 8 C when host P19X was infected, while no such temperature restriction occurred with host P10. Results obtained from infecting host P19X at the permissive temperature of 2 C and then shifting to the restrictive temperature of 26 C indicated that the restriction occurs towards the end of the latent period.
