Abstract

Based on the data from the oblique-incidence sounding radio path network at mid- and subauroral latitudes of the Asian region in Russia, we investigated features of medium-scale traveling ionospheric disturbances (MS TID) within the 2016 winter and spring seasons. We revealed characteristic diurnal variations in the occurrence probability and recording time of MS TIDs along different-orientation paths. We analyzed the effect of the 2016 February minor sudden stratosphere warming (SSW) and the 2016 March final warming on the MS TID characteristics in the Asian region of Russia.
