Abstract

The temperature dependence of changes in the size of the samples has a structural component, which can be determined with the help of dilatometry. The purpose of this work was to obtain the structure-dependent component of the coefficient of linear thermal expansion (CLTE) of Zr-Nb-Cu-Fe amorphous alloys. The samples were preliminarily hardened under conditions of pure bending test to definite degrees of plastic deformation. The obtained experimental results permit to evaluate the CLTE as a function of plastic deformation.
