Abstract

Succinic dehydrogenase and acid phosphatase activities have been measured in aortic and pulmonary valve homografts after various storage times in antibiotic media. There was a rapid decrease in succinic dehydrogenase activity within the first four days of storage. There was a gradual increase in acid phosphatase activity during storage, reaching a peak at 20 days.
