Abstract

Spintronics is an emerging cross-disciplinary, and its central theme is that of solid electronic systems for effective electronic spin degree of freedom to operate and control. Spin effect in quantum dot system has attracted considerable attention theoretically and experimentally. This paper introduces the effect of spin-orbit interaction on the transport properties of quantum dot system, and to explore how to use spin-orbit coupling to achieve effective filtering of spin and pure spin current generation. Based on the mechanism of the exchange interaction between electrons in a double quantum dot system coupled with four ferromagnetic metals, we propose a way to enhance the injection efficiency of spin-polarized current from ferromagnetic metal into semiconductor quantum dot.
