Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of psychological nursing on the prognosis of patients undergoing cardiac surgery in Intensive Care Unit. Methods 90 cases of cardiac surgery patients in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) from February 2017 to June 2018 were randomly divided into control group and experimental group. The satisfaction level, the environmental quality of ICU and the degree of cooperation in cardiac surgery, the psychological scores of anxiety, depression and cardiac function before and after nursing were compared. The incidence of complications in ICU such as heart failure and myocardial infarction was analyzed. Results The satisfaction level of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (P 0.05). The psychological scores of anxiety, depression and cardiac function of the experimental group were better than those of the control group after nursing (P<0.05). The incidence of surgical complications in the ICU such as heart failure and myocardial infarction was lower in the experimental group than in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The psychological nursing in cardiac surgery nursing in ICU is effective, which can reduce patients’anxiety and depression, improve environmental quality, reduce surgical complications, improve cardiac function and life quality, and the patients’ satisfaction with nursing services is high.
