Abstract

The present study investigated the impact of different project leadership styles on the overall performance of Setraco Nigeria Limited. The research employed a descriptive survey methodology to analyse primary data. A sample of 77 respondents were drawn from a population of 120 staff of the organization. The independent factors are strategic leadership style and variable leadership style, while the dependent variable is organizational performance. The data collected were subjected to coding and analysis employing descriptive statistics, Pearson’s correlation, and a multiple regression model. The findings of the study indicated that both the strategic and transformational leadership styles exhibited statistically significant P-values. This implied that the leadership style employed in project management had a noteworthy influence on the performance of employees at Setraco Nigeria Limited. Based on this outcome, the study recommended that the process of selecting managers for organisations, departments, or production units should prioritise individuals who possess leadership qualities or have received training to become competent leaders.
