Abstract
The process of rectification is both widely and intensively used in the oil and gas processing and petrochemical industries to produce products with a specified concentration of components and also generate high yields. The aim of this work is to substantiate a method for improving the process of rectification in the oil-and-gas and petrochemical industries by increasing the efficiency of the operation of contact devices. It has been shown that both the rectification sharpness and the capacity of the columns can be significantly raised by increasing the pressure. The results of operation of the stabilized oil primary distillation unit, the ethane columns at the oil-dissolved gas rectification plants, confirming the high efficiency of the proposed approach were presented.
