Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of pregnancy health education on pregnant women.Methods Four hundred pregnant women who had prenatal examinations and were delivery in our hospital from September 2011 to March 2013 were chosen and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the odd and even number , each with 200 cases.The control group received the guidance according to the existing and counseling problems;the observation group received the health education from the second month of pregnancy , and the pregnant women and their families received the lectures and training of health knowledge at the regular prenatal examination time .The incidence rates of diabetes in pregnant women , pregnancy complications and fetal asphyxia , the type of delivery and neonatal weight were compared between two groups.Results The incidence rates of diabetes in pregnant women and pregnancy complications in the observation group were respectively 3.5%and 18.5%, and were lower than 10.5%and 41.0%in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (χ2 =4.583, 9.375, respectively;P 〈0.01).The incidence rates of fetal asphyxia and huge neonatal birth in the observation group were respectively 5.0% and 4.5%, and were lower than 16.0% and 21.0% in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (χ2 =13.172, 16.755, respectively; P〈0.05).The cases of normal childbirth, the midwife, cesarean section in the observation group were respectively 135, 14 and 51 cases, and were 51, 103, 16 cases in the control group;the cases of neonatal birth weight 〈2.5 kg, 2.5~3.0 kg, 3.0~3.5 kg, 〉3.5 kg in the observation group were respectively 3, 52, 118 and 27 cases, and were 7, 41, 78, 74 cases in the control group, and the differences were found in the type of delivery and neonatal weight between two groups ( P 〈0.01).Conclusions The pregnancy health education on pregnant women can effectively reduce the incidence rates of huge neonatal birth , diabetes in pregnant women , pregnancy complications , cesarean section and fetal asphyxia, and is helpful to postpartum rehabilitation in pregnant women and eugenics .
