Abstract

Permutite of catalyst was an important factor acting on enzymatic/mild acidolysis lignin (named EMAL) pyrolyzing at the fixed temperature of 700 degrees C. The obtained pyrolysate consisted of condensed liquid product (bio-oil), solid product (char), and light gas. The ingredient of gaseous product was analyzed by gas chromatograph (GC), and the composition of bio-oil was detected on a gas chromatography/mass spectrometer (GC/MS). Research results showed that rice straw EMAL pyrolysis produced bio-oil of 40%, char of 30% and gas of 30%, after adding permutite the bio-oil yield increased to 50% and gas yield reduced to 20%. It revealed that additive permutite improved the conversion of EMAL to the volatile, and the additive dosage of permutite was 5% that had an exceeding effect on improving bio-oil yield and suppressing gas generation. Moreover, additive permutite catalyzed EMAL pyrolyzing and also changed the ingredient of bio-oil and the gaseous.
