Abstract
This article is related with the investigation of heat transfer in an annular cylinder containing porous medium. The outer surface of the vertical annulus is heated to hot temperature and inner surface is cooled. The simulation is carried out by considering the thermal non equilibrium between the solid and fluid phases of the medium. Finite element method is used to solve the equations. The work is an extension of Part I of this paper that considered physical parameters such as inter-phase heat transfer coefficient, thermal conductivity ratio and Rayleigh number. However, this article elaborates the effect of geometric parameters along with radiation parameter. This article is related with the investigation of heat transfer in an annular cylinder containing porous medium.
