Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational climate and job stress on the performance of banking employees in Medan City. This study involved 116 employees at Banking X Medan City. The measuring instrument used in this research is the organizational climate scale, job stress scale and employee performance scale. The results of regression analysis show that the organizational climate and job stress simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Medan X Banking. The results also show that the Organizational climate and job stress also have an influence on employee performance by 70.9%. The implication of this research is expected to help the company in improving employee performance in banking companies.
