Abstract

Objective To study the causes and related factors of nosocomial infection after direct rooming-in management and explore the measurements to decrease incidence rate. Methods The data information was monitored and analyzed retrospectively on basic nursing, patients behavior intervention, ward air disinfection, respiratory tract nursing, hand sanitary control of medical care personnel in neonates and moms with direct rooming-in management from January 2006 to December 2009 in the hospital. Results The incidence of nosocomial infection after direct rooming-in management was 0.47%. Infected part was mainly the lower respiratory tract infection (38.1%).Conclusion Strengthening maternity nosocomial infection knowledge of nursing staff training, strengthen early maternal and accompanied protect personnel to implement the hospital infection related knowledge of mission, strengthen the work of maternal and infant direct rooming-in management, strengthening basic nursing, pay attention to hand hygiene, on the prevention and control of maternaldirect rooming-in management nosocomial infection all play the very important role. It suggested that strengthening the disinfection and isolation management for hospital ward and basic nursing measurements could play a very important role in prevention and control to nosocomial infection induced by infant & mom rooming-in.
