Abstract
The effect of the non-adiabatic spin torque parameter on domain wall depinning driven by pulse current has been investigated using micromagnetic simulation. The results showed that domain wall depinning is sensitive to both pulse current frequency and the value of the non-adiabatic spin torque parameter. The transverse wall was found to be more easily depinned for larger values of the non-adiabatic constant. The largest improvement in the critical current density for a pulse current was found for a non-adiabatic spin torque parameter of 0.03.
