INTRODUCTION

It is necessary to carry out studies on the effect of drought stress and inoculation of arbuscular mycorrhiza and nutrient application on the seedling performance of Mansonia altissima in order to know its growth behaviour and ascertain the best way to establish them in plantations, extensively both as mixed and single species stands.
