Abstract
Treatment with methyl testosterone produces no change in the ovaries of guppies which were hypophysectomized before gonad differentiation but does induce a marked development of the oviducts with the appearance of typical male secondary sex characters. Sex ratios remained unchanged in hypophysectomized juveniles treated with methyl testosterone.
