Abstract
The authors investigated the biometeorologially and physiologically important role of the variations in the values of pH and resistance of physiological sodium cloride solutions (the so called Ringer-solution) in an open vessel and a grinded glass closed vessel respectively during the course of a year. Investigations carried out in a carefully controlled and conditioned spaceled to the following results: 1. There are seasonal variations, the resistance and pH mean values are higher in winter, than in summer. 2. The winter values are lower during cyclonic weather situations, than in summer with higher values in an anticyclonic pattern. 3. The influence of weather fronts seems to be more pronounced in an open place. The increase of resistance occurred after a frontal passage (unstable cold front). One observes during a warm front passage an increase in pH level and a smaller decrease during a cold front passage. 4. The influence of solar activity is detectable. There is a decrease in resistance during a wave-like radiation and an increase during a particle invasion. The variation in pH level is not so definite.
