Abstract
Corbet, A. J. S., Flax, P., Alston, C., and Rudolph, A. J. (1979). Aust. Paediatr. J., 15, 7–9. Effect of isoxsuprine on secretion of pulmonary phospholipids in fetal rabbits. Isoxsuprine, a beta‐adrenergic agonist, was injected in fetal rabbits of 26.5 days gestation, and 2.5 hours later the lungs were lavaged and the fluid analysed for total phospholipids. A significantly greater return than in saline injected controls suggested that secretion of pulmonary phospholipids may be stimulated by isoxsuprine.
