Abstract

Objective To evaluate the effect of high-quality nursing on the adherence and quality of life for senile patients with reflux esophagitis(RE). Methods A total of 92 cases of elderly patients with RE were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 46 cases in each group.The observation group received high-quality nursing, while the control group received conventional nursing.And the adherence and score of quality of life (SF-36) before and after nursing of the two groups were compared. Results The adherence of the observation group was 97.83%, which was higher than that of the control group.The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.83%, which was higher than that of the control group.After nursing, the SF-36 scores of the two groups were significantly improved, and the degree of improvement of the observation group was better than that of the control group.The nursing satisfaction rate of the observation group was 93.48%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion High-quality nursing can remarkably improved the adherence and quality of life for elderly patients with RE, which plays a critical subsidiary role in the clinical treatment.
