Abstract

1. It has been established that precipitation hardening can be employed as a means of increasing the strength of sintered Fe15Mo6CaF2 material. 2. The aging of this material, following quenching in water from 1200°C, should be performed for 2–4 h at 700°C, which increases its hardness by 50% and at the same time stabilizes the structure of its metallic matrix.
