Abstract

In this paper, the fractional generalized thermoelastic theory is introduced to obtain the dynamic response of two-dimensional electromagnetic-thermoelastic fiber-reinforced media under thermal shock. The general expressions of temperature, displacement and stress are obtained by means of normal modal analysis. Considering the influence of magnetic field and gravity field, the effects of different fractional parameters on related physical quantities are analyzed and compared. The results show that these parameters have a significant effect on the distribution of the variables considered.
