Abstract

The properties of a thin-film transistor deposited upon an oriented, ferroelectric triglycine sulfate (TGS) crystal have been evaluated in terms of the interaction between the remanent spontaneous polarization of the ferroelectric element and the space charge in the semiconductor layer. Experimental data suggests that this interaction results in changing the threshold voltage V 0 for the onset of drain current.
