Abstract

Objective To investigate the application effect of evidence -based nursing on prevention of infection in surgical pa-tients.Methods A total of 100 cases of surgical operation patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group , two groups were given the same preoperative nursing , the control group was given conventional nursing , the observation group was used evi-dence-based nursing in prevention of postoperative infection , and nursing effects were compared between the two groups.Results Postoper-ative infection rate in the observation group was significantly less than that in the control group , infection time was longer than that in the con-trol group, reactive protein and interleukin 6 1d after operation was significantly lower than that in the control group , postoperative recovery time of bowel sound , length of hospital stay was significantly less than that in the control group , with statistical significance ( P〈0.05 ) .Nursing satisfaction in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group , with statistical significance ( P〈0.05 ) .Conclusions The evidence-based nursing can prevent the occurrence of postoperative infection in surgical patients , promote early rehabili-tation of patients , and improve nursing satisfaction.
