Abstract
The circumstances of ethanolic intoxication the body growth the level of serum proteins were studied in ducklings during 3 weeks after their hatching: (1) A very small concentration of ethanol in water is sufficient to provoke the totalintoxication in ducks. (2) The body growth of ducks is diminished under the ethanol consumption according to the concentration of ethanol in water. (3) A significant decrease of serum albumin and increase of <i>α</i>- and <i>β</i>-globulins were found in alcohol intoxicated ducks.
