Abstract
The microstructure and properties of industrial pure titanium TA1 produced by warm rolling and electropulsing rolling were studied and compared in this paper. The results show that both elongation and strength improve after warm rolling, and the elongation of electropulsing rolled TA1 improves significantly and the strength reduces compared to warm rolled TA1. The microstructure after warm rolling shows elongated grains with high density of dislocation. However, after electropulsing rolling, microstructure is much finer, shows some fine grains and sub-grains with lower density of dislocations. The pole figure results show that sharp {0002} basal texture form in electropulsing rolled TA1, and the maximum texture component deviate from{0002} basal texture in warm rolled TA1.
