Abstract
(Acta Obstet Gynecol Scand. 2021;100:955–963) Enhanced recovery (ERAC) programs aim to decrease the length of hospital stay (LOS) for patients who underwent cesarean delivery (CD). While it can be positive for some parents to be discharged early, it is unclear whether others find it difficult in regard to their sense of security. The aim of this study was to assess patients’ sense of security in association with different hospital discharge times: the day following CD combined with a midwife home visit versus 2 days following CD.
