Abstract

In order to further optimize the tissue culture regeneration system of Jatropha curcas, the leaf explants of J. curcas were used as experimental materials, and MS medium supplemented with 0.5 mg/L 6-BA, 0.1 mg/L TDZ and 0.5 mg/L IBA was used as the basic medium. The effects of callus induction from leaf explants of J. curcas was studied by added different concentrations of compound sodium nitrophenolate (CSN), silver nitrate and diethyl aminoethyl hexanoate (DA-6) into the basic medium. The results showed that adding 8 mg/L CSN or 10 mg/L DA-6 in the basal medium could increase the callus induction rate of leaf explants. While the number of callus induced by basal medium supplemented with silver nitrate was decreased, but the quality of callus was improved.
