Abstract
Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus sapidus and Pleurotus flabellatus) was observed for production with application of nutritional amendments to the substrates. In present study cereals additives are evaluated for the impact on yield and quality of oyster mushroom. Maximum number (57.75) of sporophore was observed with maximum yield (723.75g/kg of dry substrate with 72.37% B.E.) sporophore in wheat straw + Rice flour @2.5%. The minimum yield was found in control (without additive) (540.00g/kg of dry substrate with 54% B.E.) in Pleurotus sapidus whole. In case of Pleurotus flabellatus maximum number of sporophore (76.25) and maximum yield (866.25g/kg of dry substrate with 72.37% B.E.) was found in wheat straw + Rice flour @2.5%. The minimum yield was found in control (without additive) (579.00g/kg of dry substrate) which was found significantly lower than all treatments.
