Abstract

The influence of the curing process on the interlaminar shear strength and mode II toughness of Vinylester-Urethane resin composites with high density glass fibre plain fabric is shown in this work. There is a shorter curing treatment that achieves similar mechanical properties compared to the treatment proposed by the resin manufacturer. This is of industrial interest as shortening time leads to savings in production costs.
