Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of complication experience combined with health education on management quality of patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods A total of 116 patients with type 2 diabetes admitted to the hospital from February 2016 to February 2018 were included in the study by randomized parallel control method.According to the random method of lottery, the patients were divided into control group and observation group, 58 cases of each group. The control group received routine health education intervention, and the observation group implemented complication experience combined with health education.Fasting blood glucose (FBG), postprandial blood glucose (2hPBG), glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels were measured before intervention (the second day of hospitalization) and at the end of 3 months of intervention. The effect of blood glucose control in the two groups was compared, and the self-management scale of diabetes was adopted to observe the quality of self-management before intervention and after intervention. Results There was no significant difference between the two groups in blood glucose control before intervention (P>0.05). The levels of FBG, 2hPBG and HbA1c in the observation group after intervention were significantly lower than those before and in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P 0.05). The scores of diet management, drug management, exercise management, blood glucose monitoring, complications and risk factors management and total scale of the observation group after intervention were significantly higher than those before intervention and the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion Complication experience combined with health education can effectively improve the blood glucose control effect and self-management quality of patients with type 2 diabetes, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
