Abstract

BaFe/sub 12.2x/Co/sub x/Sn/sub x/O/sub 19/ (where x=0/spl sim/1.03) thin films were made by rf magnetron sputtering in Ar-O/sub 2/ mixed atmosphere. These films were then post-annealed in air between 850/spl deg/C and 1000/spl deg/C for 10 minutes, in order to get M-type phase. The effect of content of Co/Sn on the magnetic properties and thermal stability of the magnetic properties of the films were discussed.
