Abstract

Objective To observe the effect of cinepazide maleate (CM) combined with salvia miltiorrhiza injection on acute cerebral infarction (ACI) and the level of serum neuro-related factors. Methods From January 2017 to May 2018, 120 patients with ACI in our hospital were randomly divided into control group and observation group, 60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with salvia miltiorrhiza injection on the basis of routine treatment, and the observation group was treated with CM on the basis of the control group, both groups were treated for 2 weeks. The clinical efficacy and safety of the two groups were compared, and the levels of serum neuro-related factors and America national institutes of health stroke scale (NIHSS) score were observed before and after treatment in the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (81.67% vs. 63.33%) (P 0.05); after treatment, VEGF, BDNF levels in the observation group were (419.45±42.62) pg/ml, (4.63±0.87) ng/ml, higher than those in the control group, NIHSS score in the observation group was (11.84±3.26), lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). There were no significant adverse reactions in the two groups. Conclusion Cinepazide maleate (CM) combined with salvia miltiorrhiza injection is safe and reliable in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction (ACI), with significant clinical effects, which can effectively increase the levels of serum neuroprotective factors. Key words: Acute cerebral infarction (ACI); Cinepazide maleate; Salvia miltiorrhiza injection
