Abstract
This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of bed position and planting densities of watermelon grown on two-story bed on fruit quality in summer season (strawberry resting period). The width, length and height of a bed were 22, 102, and 13 cm and the medium in bed were used coir. Watermelon was treated in accordance with the bed position and planting density, one crop planting per one bed (A), upper bed (B) and lower bed (C) as one crop planting per one bed, upper bed (D) and lower bed (E) as two crop planting per one bed, respectively. Watermelons (Citrullus vulgaris Schard) were planted on two-story bed on May 8 and grown by drip irrigation
