Abstract
Resistances were measured in the temperature range 25 to 500/sup 0/C for BaTiO/sub 3/ and WO/sub 3/ ceramics doped with Co/sub 2/O/sub 3/, V/sub 2/O/sub 5/, La/sub 2/O/sub 3/, and Li/sub 2/O. The positive temperature coefficient of resistivity (PTCR) appeared at 120/sup 0/C for BaTiO/sub 3/ and at greater than 300/sup 0/C for the WO/sub 3/ ceramics. 0.5 mole percent V/sub 2/O/sub 5/-doped WO/sub 3/ exhibited the PTCR effect in O/sub 2/ and air at greater than 300/sup 0/C, but not in vacuum and CO.
