Effect of Application of Environmental Management Accounting on Environmental Performance

Abstract

. This research originated from the many phenomenon of environmental damage caused by industrial development, one of them in Bandung Regency which became the largest textile industry region in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to determine the application of environmental management accounting, environmental performance and the influence of the application of environmental management accounting on environmental performance in textile companies that have followed PROPER in Bandung regency 2015-2016. The research method used in this research is survey research method and verificative with quantitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study using questionnaires. Sampling technique in this research is nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling type. Hypothesis testing used is simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the application of environmental management accounting on textile companies that have followed PROPER in Bandung regency 2015-2016 are included in good criteria, environmental performance in textile companies that have followed PROPER in Bandung regency 2015-2016 are also included in the criteria well, the application of environmental management accounting affects the environmental performance of textile companies that have followed PROPER in Bandung regency 2015-2016.
