Abstract

Objective To observe the effects of antituberculosis drugs combined with thymosin on TLR2 and TLR4 levels in patients with tuberculous pleurisy. Methods 90 patients with tuberculous pleurisy diagnosed in our hospital from October 2016 to November 2018 were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 45 cases in each group. On the basis of the same anti-tuberculosis drug treatment method, the observation group received intravenous infusion of thymosin. The changes of serum TLR2 and TLR4 levels in patients before and after treatment were compared and analyzed. Results After treatment, the serum TLR2 level in the observation group significantly reduced, which was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05), and the serum TLR4 level in the observation group significantly reduced, which was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The therapeutic effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group (82.22% vs.62.22%), and the pleural thickness was thinner (P<0.05). Conclusion The use of anti-tuberculosis drugs combined with thymosin has good treatment effect in the treatment of tuberculous pleurisy, serum TLR2, TLR4 levels decrease, which is worth promoting. Key words: Tuberculous pleurisy; Thymosin; Anti-tuberculosis drugs; TLR2; TLR4
