Abstract

Objective To evaluate the effect of amiodarone combined with metoprolol tartrate on acute myocardial infarction complicated with rapid arrhythmia. Methods A total of 130 patients with acute myocardial infarction complicated with tachyarrhythmia were divided into control group (65 cases) and observation group (65 cases) according to the treatment scheme. The control group received amiodarone treatment, while the observation group received amiodarone combined with metoprolol tartrate. The therapeutic effects, adverse reactions and cardiac function indexes (LVESD, LVEDD, HR, LVEF) before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 92.31%, higher than that of the control group 73.85% (P<0.05), the LVEF of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05), and the HR, LVESD and LVEDD of the observation group were lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion In the treatment of acute myocardial infarction complicated with tachyarrhythmia, amiodarone combined with metoprolol tartrate can improve cardiac function with significant efficacy and high safety. Key words: Amiodarone; Acute myocardial infarction; Rapid arrhythmia; Metoprolol tartrate
