Abstract
A study was made of the mechanical behaviour of polyvinylchloride (PVC) and polyvinylchloride containing a rubber filler (PMVC) in several adsorption active media over a wide range of rates of elongation. It was found that the limit of forced elasticity of both materials decreases considerably during deformation in liquid media.
