Abstract
The information on the soil microorganism of alkali-saline grassland was limited. To demonstrate the effect of aboveground biomass, temperature and moisture on soil microorganism of alkali-saline grassland, the soil microbial counts, biomass carbon, diversity index, aboveground biomass, soil temperature and moisture were measured and analyzed in Songnen grassland. The results showed that aboveground biomass, soil temperature and moisture had significant effect (P0.05). To sum up, the change of the soil microbial counts and biomass carbon were related primarily by plant growth.
