Abstract
Recent small-signal calculations on the time-dependence of the electron distribution function in GaAs are generalized to the case of a transverse magnetic field. As a function of the electric field the relaxation times, the soft plasma mode at low electron concentrations, and the limiting frequency for negative microwave mobility are calculated.
