Abstract

The effect of an antifraction filler on the kinetics of acceptor-catalytic polyesterification and the structure and properties of polyesters and filled polymeric systems based on them has been investigated. The filler was found to have a different influence on the activity of the aromatic and aliphatic hydroxyl-containing compounds reflected in the microstructure of the copolyesters. It was established that the introduction of a filler increases the molecular-viscous characteristics of dichlordiane polyterephthalate. The antifrictional properties of filled polymeric systems as a function of the way of introducing the filler have been studied. It is shown that the introduction of graphite at the stage of synthesis of the polymer, rather than in the case of mechanical mixing, leads to a lower and more stable friction coefficient of filled systems.
