Abstract

Objective To discuss the effect of the special prescription review model of antibacterial drugs with physician's participation, and provide reference for improving the special prescription review model of antibacterial drugs. Methods The data of emergency and outpatient prescriptions, doctors' advice for inpatients, patients with type I incision, antibacterial drugs use in 2012 were used as the sample before the implementation of special anti-bacterial prescription review model with physician's participation, the relevant data from 2014 to 2016 was used as the sample after the implementation of review model, the comparative analysis was carried out. Results After the implementation of special anti-bacterial prescription review model with physician's participation, the usage rate of antibacterial drugs in emergency and outpatient prescriptions, doctors' advice for inpatients, patients with type I incision decreased from 51.24%, 70.30%, and 88.21% in 2012 to 27.92%, 55.28%, 43.87% in 2016; the passing rate of emergency and outpatient prescriptions increased from 89.90% in 2012 to 97.10% in 2016, the usage rate of injections and the rate of combined use decreased from 24.90% and 18.81% in 2012 to 16.20% and 9.70% in 2016; the rational use rate of antibacterial drugs in patients with type I incision increased from 44.83% in 2012 to 89.47% in 2016. Conclusion The special anti-bacterial prescription review model with physician's participation can effectively intervene in the clinical application of antibacterial drugs and promote rational drug use.
