Abstract

Nowadays technological developments occur very rapidly in various countries, with this technological development it becomes a challenge for educators. STEAM learning is important to apply to the learning process of elementary school students, this is because in the field during the science learning process teachers often play an active role in the learning process rather than students. The research method used in this research is Quasy Experiment and the design used is pretest-posttest control group design. This research was conducted in two classes, namely one experimental class and one control class. The first thing to do was to give a pretest, learning process, and posttest. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using instructional media in elementary schools and to design the development of STEAM-based stronger bridge media in grade IV elementary schools. The use of STEAM-based learning media is expected to improve the learning outcomes of class IV students. The results of this study indicate that learning using the STEM approach is quite effective in improving student learning outcomes.
