Abstract
<p><strong>Abstrak</strong>:Permasalahan terkait kemandirian belajar siswa sering terjadi pada siswa salah satunya adalah siswa SMA. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mendeskripsikan perbedaan skor dalam mengembankan kemandirian belajar siswa pada kelompok eksperimen sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan layanan informasi dengan menggunakan metode problem solving. Dengan kelompok kontrol sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan layanan informasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan tipe penelitian ekperimen dan kontrol. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IIS Amir Hamzah dan kelas X IIS Adam Malik SMA Swasta Budi Agung Medan. Dengan menggunakan angket kemandirian belajar dan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test dan uji Kolmogorov Smirnov 2 Independen Sampels. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan terdapat: 1) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan tentang kemandirian belajar siswa pada kelompok eksperimen, sebelum (pretest) dan sesudah (posttest) dengan layanan informasi menggunakan metode problem solving. 2) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan tentang kemandirian belajar siswa pada kelompok konrol, sebelum (pretest) dan sesudah (posttest) dengan layanan informasi. 3) Terdapat perbedaan kemandirian belajar pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol yang diberikan layanan informasi dengan menggunakan metode problem solving. Maka penerapan layanan inforamsi dengan menggunakan metode problem solving berjalan dengan baik.</p><p><strong>Kata kunci</strong>: Layanan Informasi, Kemandirian Belajar, Metode Problem Solving.</p><pre><strong><em>ABSTRACT</em></strong><em>: </em><em>Problems related to student learning independence often occur among students, one of whom is high school students. The aim of this research is to describe the difference in scores in developing student learning independence in the experimental group before and after being given information service treatment using the problem solving method. Based on the results of the research conducted, there are: 1) There are significant differences regarding student learning independence in the experimental group, before (pretest) and after (posttest) with information services using problem solving methods. 2) There is a significant difference in student learning independence in the control group, before (pretest) and after (posttest) with information services. 3) There are differences in learning independence in the experimental group and the control group who were provided with information services using problem solving methods.
