Abstract

The teacher needs to increase skills and knowledge of independence as a form of self-development that can be obtained through training. Training is one of the effective methods in a short time that has a positive impact. The principles in the training include participation, repetition, relevance, transference and feedback. This research aims to describe the implementation of training activities to make questions for SDN 1 Kuluran teachers and to find out the effectiveness of the training on the skills of making questions for SDN 1 Kuluran teachers. This type of research was a semi-descriptive quantitative research. The populations in this study were all teachers of SDN 1 Kuluran, consisting of 12 people. The data analysis used in this study was the T test. The test used the SPSS 21 application. The results of the study show that the training stages include introduction, connection, application, reflection and extension. Some points that must be considered in research are preparation, allocation and time consistency, participant activity (speaker as facilitator), and a conducive environment. The significance value obtained based on the results of the pretest and post test is 0.00 <0.05, which means that the training is effective in the skills of making questions of teachers at SD Kuluran.
