Abstract

To develop a complete economic evaluation to identify which screening test for Colon and Rectal Cancer (CCR) is the most cost-effective for the beneficiaries of the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS). Methodology: A cost-effectiveness analysis was carried out from the perspective of the health system in 2020, through a Markov model with a time horizon of 10 years. The model used five scenarios, and the simulation took into account various assumptions based on the natural history of the CCR. Additionally, a budget impact analysis was carried out to estimate the consumption of resources that the introduction implies.
