Abstract
I want to thank Dr. Edward Lee for serving as guest editor for this issue of Seminars in Plastic Surgery on “Vascular Anomalies.” I also appreciate the efforts made by the outstanding authors for sharing their knowledge and expertise. Dr. Lee is currently an assistant professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital. Dr. Lee specializes in pediatric plastic surgery. He is a graduate of the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Lee trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Baylor, and completed a fellowship in pediatric plastic surgery at Texas Children's Hospital. Dr. Lee has research interests in many aspects of pediatric, craniofacial, and general plastic surgery. He is currently involved in several projects that address surgical outcomes for pediatric patients, including those with vascular lesions. He is a superb clinician and uniquely qualified to edit this issue.
